What an incredible experience! Today, Sunday, in 2010 my family and I took the Perfect Road Trip from South Florida to watch the Space Shuttle Endeavor land at Cape Canaveral. The Endeavor landed just minutes ago in clouds and moisture. The shuttle is one of the last ones so to view the landing was breathtaking. It completed a two week mission to the International Space Station.
The crew were six members of NASA.
We could view the sparking of fuel that comes from the engines and we're told it only can be seen when the shuttle lands at night.
The landing of Endeavor was breathtaking making this last minute, but Perfect Road Trip to Cape Canaveral on the Space Coast of Florida and Cocoa Beach!
